Pang-galore!

I closed my eyes and listened to the autos whizz past me in Jayanagar today.
Look! Our Uppi is advertising Milk and Beer on the same road.
The Postman always replies to "Yen Vishesha, Postman?" with "Helbeku, Maydum".
The SLV guy will always remember my preference and tell the little guy "Sambar-Chutney sep-rett haakappa".
Random sad evenings turn into happy ones with a cup of Assam Tea with Honey.
My grandpa will ask me twice every morning, afternoon and night if I've eaten yet - even if I am eating at the time.
Vasanthamma always asks me if I'll eat a third dosa at breakfast, even though she knows I never will.
When I am at home, Amigo is always at my feet. He will wake up once in a while, panic that I am not around and turn into the-amazing-sniffer-dog until he is thrilled to find my feet in another room and settles down again.
Family, Friends, Home and most of all, Amigo. I'm going to miss everybody and everything SO much.
Saying goodbye is so incredibly difficult for me. Because potholes or not, this is my home, this is where my heart is and always will be.

Lovely post. You sound like you're going away for a long time... where? And not too far, I hope... was really looking forward to that tea-treat I promised...
...and that's a lovely pic. Says everything.
25 years aren't going anywhere, Vaish.
They live as snippets of relevance to everyone you have known.
In the people that tacitly made you a part of their perfunctory routine. In the lives to which you were just a familiar face.
They live in the acrid (possibly drug altered) memory of the depraved people that hate your guts! And in those that can only feel you now as painful absence.
But mostly they live in us; people that are proud to know you as family, friend, confidant or the owner of rather pleasant feet.
You are a really special person Vaish and you aren't getting rid of us that easy.
As much as I would hav liked to hav Harry and you here rather than the other way around, I feel happy for you both that you are finally joining him.
I hope that you guys have loads of fun there and live each day as tho it was the first day after your wedding...
will miss you, behen!
